Network Engineer (Cisco/NOC)
(National Capital Reg – Mandaluyong City , Makati City, Quezon City)
Responsibilities:

* Operates internal mainframe/midrange company computers, utilizing established programs and procedures.
* Monitors computer and peripheral equipment and researches error messages.
* Maintains necessary operating records.
* Operates under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment.
* Typically reports to the Data Center Operations Lead or to a Data Center Operations Manager.
* Oversee overall check-up and continuous maintenance of the corporate and operations data network infrastructure.
* 24 by 7 and on-call monitoring of the company’s network infrastructure.
* Coordination with vendors to ensure good technical support utilization.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Required skill(s): Extensive background in CISCO Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN Management, Network Infrastructure Design.
* Solid exposure to handling Routing Protocols and Change Management
* Relevant experience in handling Cisco Pix Firewalls and other security techniques
* Background in ITIL, an advantage
* Good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
