Compliance Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Analyzes and records recurring monthly journal entries pertaining to tax and other withholding liabilities.
-Reviews, evaluates, and ensures company compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements of the government.
-Acts as the liaison officer between the company and government regulatory agencies such as the BIR, PEZA, SEC, SSS, HDMF, Philhealth, etc.
-Interprets and implements existing and new tax laws and regulations as well as other rulings of government regulatory agencies.
-Coordinates the conduct of tax audit by the Bureau of Internal Revenue
-Assists in the registration of new projects and offices with PEZA and other government regulatory agencies.
-Coordinates annual year-end audit by external auditors.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
-At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Expert knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
-Expert knowledge of Philippine Business and Tax Laws
-Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
-Ability to mentor others in Accounting
-Bachelors Degree (BS) in Accounting from a four (4) year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.
-Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
-Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
-Full-Time position available.
