Reports / BI Developer

* Design and develop various reporting applications and business intelligence solutions for the Global Technical Support organization. Applying BI best practices and knowledge of trusted design patterns, implement report automation systems by efficiently integrating several sources of data and presenting them thru comprehensive, flexible and user-friendly reports & information solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

* University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar IT degrees
* 2+ years experience in medium-large IT software development projects, focusing on web-based and database intensive applications.
* Solid background in standard Software Development Lifecycle processes and methodologies
* Excellent knowledge of SQL 2000 / 2005 and related technologies
* Experience in working for complex, multi-faceted projects demonstrating accountability and the ability to deliver as promised.
* Experience in designing, developing and implementing Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence solutions is a plus.
* Experience with BI platforms such as Business Objects, Cognos, SAS is an advantage.
* Ability to perform detailed analysis, exhibits strong attention to detail, and able to quickly identify areas for improvement
* Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and customer service attitude
* Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Business Intelligence Developer certification is a big advantage.
