Accounting Supervisor (Payment Processing)
(National Capital Reg – Taguig)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage Payment Processing departments, process and reconcile payments received according to company policies and procedures.
* Oversee departments productivity, monitor workload, and ensure quality and standards are consistently achieved and guidelines are followed and met.
* Ensure identification and research of payment discrepancies and the determination and correction of posting errors.
* Ensure all payments are processed efficiently and accurately into appropriate revenue system.
* Maintain and organize all pertinent back up information to substantiate payment postings as necessary.
* Overall responsibility for reconciliation of any discrepancies found in balancing, identification, correction, and re-application of misapplied payments, and processing of refund requests.
* Oversee daily closing of revenue systems, generation of all system reports, and reconciliation of system totals to daily deposits and production reports.
* Support client specific month-end close requirements.
* Manage Payment Processing month-end revenue system close to ensure accurate and timely completion of all processes and procedures.
* Develop, document, and implement policies and procedures to maximize efficiencies and eliminate redundancies.
* Address escalated payment processing and/or remittance issues and create solutions for resolution in a timely manner.
* Manage, train, and develop staff.
* Lead all internal and external audits to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
* Maintain Paid Time Off (PTO) records for department.
* Accountable for all decisions, actions, and directives with respect to job responsibilities.
* Responsible for progressive discipline with regards to attendance, performance and all aspects of company policy.
* Follow up in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.
* Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
* Required language(s): English.
* 4-5 years of supervisory experience. Previous payment processing experience preferred.
* Strong personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Excel knowledge required.
* Exhibit strong attention to detail.
* Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
* Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
* Ability to motivate others and lead by example.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, to prioritize and work in multi-tasked environment.
* Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
* Willing to work in NIGHT SHIFT SCHEDULE
* 1 Full-Time positions available.
