Regional Internal Auditor & Accountant (San Pedro, Laguna)
(National Capital Reg – San Pedro, Laguna)

Responsibilities:

* Perform audits and reviews of various organizational and functional areas.
* Assist in writing and developing comprehensive internal control procedures and policies that contains key controls for all functional areas of the business.
* The position will not have direct reports but will be the lead that liaisons with local Accounting and Financial personnel at all Asian locations for developing and implementing an annual internal control plan.
* Perform audit and special projects in a professional manner and proper documentation of the work performed.
* Leads audit projects to insure that professional standards are maintained in the planning and execution and in the accumulation of evidential data.
* Prepare and/or review and edit the audit reports and discuss reports with appropriate management.
* Identify factors causing deficient conditions and recommend course of action to improve the conditions.
* Prepare and consolidate monthly financial statements in US GAAP for all entities controlled by SWM-China (Currently – Philippine ROHQ and Shanghai RO and SWM-China located in HK)
* Prepare and file SWM tax return annually with the HK Inland Bureau of Revenue.
* Be the US GAAP accounting expert in the Asian region.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
* Knowledge in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus but not required.
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants must be willing to work in San Pedro,Laguna.
* Understanding of US GAAP preferred.
* Must be CPA, CIA is a plus.
* Must be willing to travel internationally 30-40%.
