AIG Business Processing Services, Inc. (AIG BPSI), a wholly-owned shared services center based in Metro Manila, is part of the larger American International Group, Inc. (AIG) and provides back office operations and contact support services for AIG businesses world-wide.

Safety Officer
(National Capital Reg – Alabang, Muntinlupa)

* The principal function of the Safety Officer is to act as the employers’ principal assistant and specialist in the application of programs to remove the hazards from the workplace and to correct unsafe work practices. The safety personnel will also provide assistance in meeting the business requirements in compliance to government agencies.
* Serves as Secretary to the Health and Safety Committee.
* Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers.
* Conducts investigation of accidents as member of the Health and Safety Committee and submits his separate report and analysis of accidents to the employer.
* Coordinates all health and safety training programs for the employees and employer.
* Conducts health and safety inspection as member of the committee.
* Maintains or helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.
* Provides assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Graduate of B.S Nursing, B.S Physical Therapy or Similar Pre-Medical Course,
* B.S Criminology with occupational and safety certificate
* 2 years work experience as a Safety Officer is an advantage
* Knowledge in MS products or similar tools / systems
* Knowledge in various process types and process models, relationships between various procedures
* Knowledge in government building codes & processes
* Knowledge in Occupational and Health Standards
