Subcontract Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for the effective execution of assigned Subcontract Management services and support to the region, operating group and/or growth platform as required
* Works to drive and executive best practices consistently across the business units covering sourcing, contracting and managing the major subcontractors.
* Works closely with other groups (Legal, Procurement, Alliances, and assigned business unit) to execute the Subcontract Management processes across sourcing, contracting and delivery management
* Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to resolution, triggers internal escalation process
* Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Demonstrated expertise in contract management and/or subcontractor management
* Strong depth and breadth of knowledge of general corporate business practices, government and commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and accounting and finance principles
* Ability to effectively communicate with subcontractor executives at all levels of the organization
* Ability to resolve complex contracts and pricing issues
* Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but may be substituted with relevant experience.
* Membership in the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM), National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or Royal Institute of Charterned Surveyors and professional certifications are a plus.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Minimum 8 years work experience
