Java Developer
(Makati City)

Responsibilities:

* Solve problems involving data sets (consisting of impressions and keywords)
* Engage with and own the complete development lifecycle, including software design, construction, documentation and testing
* Roundtrip of domain and tabular data through web services (REST,XML) and a RDBMS using a framework like Hibernate or iBATIS
* Be able to take a whiteboard discussion or pseudocode and turn it into a well written, properly abstracted software implementation
* Deliver fully functional, tested, complete software product on a regular basis (every 1-2 weeks)

Requirements:

* Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (object oriented programming, abstract data types, computational complexity)
* 2+ years of Java or PHP or other object oriented language experience in a professional setting
* 1+ year experience RDBMS (preferably MySQL) through JDBC or a higher-level framework
* Experience with developing and running software in Unix,preferably Linux
* Experience using version control systems (ie svn, cvs), bug tracking systems (ie Jira, Bugzilla), and build systems (ie Ant, Make)
* Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills
* Willingness to learn new development techniques and styles (ie. test driven development, agile project management)
* Ability and desire to work with a large degree of autonomy and personal responsibility
* Have a BS CS with 4+ years of relevant experience, a MS CS, or extensive experience in the field
