Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:
* Hardware design
* Firmware design
* Software design
* Project management & self management
* Coordinating manufacture
* System level design
* Testing, debugging, validation, verification
* Writing documentation ? technical and user manuals
* Estimating how long projects will take
* Able to break down a large problem into smaller problems
* Able to work well under tight timeframes

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
* Required language(s): English
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering – Electrical or equivalent

Required Design Experience:

1. General analogue circuits.
2. Low energy switching and linear power supplies.
3. Discrete/PLD based digital design.
4. Design for low power applications.
5. Microcontrollers and support hardware.
6. High speed microprocessor/DSP hardware.
7. General SMD 2/4 layer printed circuit board design using Altium Designer.

Required programming experiences:

1. Significant firmware design for at least two microcontroller architectures/families.
2. Extensive use of C/C++ in embedded environments.
3. Assembly language experience with at least two microcontroller architectures/families.
4. General interface firmware – SPI, TWSI, RS232, etc.
5. PC based programming in C# and/or C++.

* It will be highly regarded if candidates have the exposure on the following; DSP software/firmware experience; RF circuit design capability; ZigBee/IEEE802.15.4 networking experience (hardware and firmware); High energy switching power supply design ability; Higher degree in electrical engineering or computer science; Commercial product design experience;Knowledge of international certifications and procedures.
