Sr PABX Administrator
(National Capital Reg – Quezon City)

Responsibilities:
CAREER OPPORTUNITY To support its aggressive plans for the coming year, our client seeks a qualified IT professional for the Sr PABX Administrator position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports call center operations of the company, as well as those of support groups, by ensuring the continuous availability & reliability of the telecommunications/PABX network. Maintains the PABX network within the organization and ensures its optimum performance. Resolves all issues and concerns regarding the PABX network and infrastructure. Assists the Network Manager, Special Project manger and general IT Mgt in telephony requirements for call center/company expansion. Supervises the activities and manages the performance of PABX Administrators.

• Performs PABX network monitoring and administration activities utilizing specific PABX managmenet tools (Avaya PABX). Immediately isolates and resolves PABX system problems to facilitate the smooth and trouble-free call center operations of the company.
• Evaluates the current PABX system and infrastructure of the company and proactively anticipates future needs of client and/or the company. Offers expertise in PABX implementations in cases of company/call centerexpansion.
• Evaluates current PABX systems and infrastructure and recommends enhancement for continuous improvement. Keeps abreast with the latest technology on PABX administration to maintain optimum network performance.
• Closely coordinates with vendors/supplers and cascades telecommunications requirements of the company. Negotiates for the most cost-effective rate for the acquisition of equipment and/or services. Idnetifies and communicates required changes/customizations to the system. Ensures the conduct of maintenance and repair activities to the system.
• Monitors IPL connections by checking on active/connected modems during and in-between shifts. Ensures the trouble-free operation of modems to support Operations (inbound & outbound calls).
• Generates/extracts call accounting reports for perusal of Mgt
• Maintains and montiros the operation of the Voice Logger system. Ensures that calls are properly recorded in order for the Quality Assurance Department to carry-on with their audits.
• Maintains and monitors he Call Management Servers used by Operations. Tests their connectivity and observes its performance throughout the entire shift. Ensures the trouble-free operation of the server in oder for Operations to proceed.
• Oversees the day-to-day activities of PABX Administrators and manges their professional growth. Facilitates the exchange of best practices and expertise in PABX administration to address future telecommunications concerns/challenges. Conducts timely performanhce appraisals fr PABX Administrators
• Oversees the release/administration of Avaya phones, NDD/IDD Codes and Voicemail PINs.
• Gathers information on PABX, Avaya CMS and Voice Logger issues/concerns and communicates timelines fr resolution.
• Maintains close coordination to facilitate the conduct of support/maintenance activities on existing PABX equipment. Calibrates with vcendors/ service providers related to PABX equipment acquired. Keeps abreast of changes/updates to operational setting of the telecommunications network. Maintains cordial working relations to expedite the repair, maintenance and delivery of PABX equipment.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Required skill(s): Avaya PABX, IPL connections, call management server.
Required language(s): English.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering – Electronics/Communication or equivalent. Job role in Telecommunication Engineer or equivalent.
Full-Time positions available.
