Senior Server Admin

Responsibilities:
• Implement and administer network/server monitoring applications.
• Develop and improve scripts and tools that automate manual procedures.
• Develop, and enforce adherence to, standards for server builds, security, and production migration.
• Create and maintain detailed, up-to-date technical documentation.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution; perform root cause analysis that focuses on corrective action to avoid problem recurrence.
• Improve and fulfill security requirements and best practices.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MUST have experience with Apache, PHP and MySQL application stack.
• MUST have 2-5 years experience with a package managed system (RHEL, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian).
• MUST have network monitoring experience.
• Complete knowledge of networking topology and protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to UNIX and Windows systems, plus networking, at a senior level.
• System Administration of Windows 2003 and Linux server infrastructure.
• LAN, W-LAN and WAN Administration in a Cisco environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Excellent judgment, decision making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Possesses self-initiative to proactively identify and pursue process improvements.
• Experience working with a team of technical staff, including coaching and training.
