Experienced Medical Transcriptionist
(National Capital Reg – Makati City)

Responsibilities:

* RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Transcribes dictations of physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, workup, therapeutic procedures clinical course, diagnosis, prognosis, etc. in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services
* Verifies accuracy of patient information such as name and identification number; verifies accuracy of transcription for correct punctuation, grammar, and spelling

Requirements:

* REQUIREMENTS:
* Six months of actual medical transcription experience excluding training
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
* Excellent hearing acuity and listening skills
* Proficient in basic computer operation and internet applications
* Ability to operate word processing equipment, computers, dictation and transcription equipment
* Ability to transcribe at least 40 words per minute (wpm)
* Must possess above average comprehension, problem solving and analytical skills
